They exchanged a look between the pews of the church during mass on Sunday. They waited to see each other again the following week, and the week after that. It was love, they were sure of it. Sweet words were written to each other for months. Two girls, one heart. One day they decided that they would be together forever. Having put on men's clothes, the young woman ran under her lover's window. "I'm waiting for you, my love. Run away with me. I will be your wife and you will be my wife. Together forever with the blessing of heaven. Because it is human beings who forbid love, not God!". That night they fled far away and lived their love happily for their entire lives.
